Group Health Cooperative of South-Central Wisconsin: Opens an expanded behavioral health clinic to better serve Madison area

MADISON, WISCONSIN, April 8, 2025 – Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) is excited to announce that its Capitol Regent Behavioral Health Clinic has moved to a larger space with convenient parking for expanded services. The official name of the new clinic is GHC-SCW Olin Clinic, located at 208 E. Olin Ave. in Madison. GHC-SCW officially unveiled the clinic with a green ribbon cutting (the color of mental health awareness) ceremony on Monday, April 7 with Madison Chamber Ambassadors. Before the ceremony, all staff who worked at the Capitol Regent Behavioral Health Clinic moved into their new space and held their first day of in-person visits on April 8.

“Capitol Regent Behavioral Health Clinic was a wonderful home for our behavioral health team and patients for over 15 years. However, our team has grown significantly in the last few years as we expanded to meet the growing demand for mental health services in the Madison area,” explained Dr. Chris Kastman, GHC-SCW’s Chief Medical Officer. “With the increased capacity and updated amenities at the new Olin Clinic, GHC-SCW is now even better equipped to serve patients and employees.”

Services currently available at the clinic include outpatient behavioral health therapy and psychiatry, behavioral health triage and crisis, and adult inattention/ADHD evaluations. This summer, GHC-SCW will launch two new services as part of its Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) program: Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Services.

This new building has 24 individual offices, two group rooms and an occupational therapy gym. One of the group rooms has been named in honor of a past employee named LuAnne Rosa, a beloved psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, who passed away in 2022. LuAnne spent five years at GHC-SCW serving patients and inspiring staff at the GHC-SCW Capitol Regent Behavioral Health Clinic, working alongside the team that is now is based at the new GHC-SCW Olin Clinic. LuAnne’s husband, John Rosa, attended and said remarks before the ribbon was cut. Some of LuAnne’s friends/retired GHC-SCW colleagues also attended the ceremony.
