Fox Cities Chamber: Announces next “fox talk” to be held on May 14

‘Effective Management & Confident Leadership’ to be Topic of Next Seminar

FOX CITIES, Wis. (March 27, 2025) – The struggle is real…building strong teams, navigating tough talks, and avoiding those frustrating mistakes that chip away at confidence. Ready to stop managing and start truly leading?

The Fox Cities Chamber is holding a seminar, “Effective Management & Confident Leadership: A Practical Toolkit,” as part of the Fox Talks series on Wednesday, May 14 from 8 – 9:30 a.m. at Community First Credit Union, 1575 Dresang Way, Neenah. Presenters are Matt Becker, Guident Business Solutions, LLC; Paula Rauenbuehler, Leading UP; and Christine Wales, River Crossing Coaching.

In just 90 minutes, these seasoned experts will equip participants with concrete actionables and tools to drive growth, build impactful teams, and confidently navigate challenging interactions. Participants will walk away with the clarity and skills to optimize their potential, avoid common pitfalls, and maintain the confidence to achieve their vision of success. They’ll also gain the support and development needed to unlock their leadership potential.

Becker’s presentation, “Building Strong, Cohesive Teams,” will focus on a strategic, systemic, and intentional approach to maximize team’s effectiveness on the road to success.  He will map out a clear framework to guide participant’s approach, and identify clear, simple strategies that can be implemented with ease.

Rauenbuehler’s presentation, “The New Leader’s Playbook: Strategies for Success,” discusses making the transition from individual contributor to a people manager for the first time. She’ll guide participants in exploring their natural management styles and pinpoint areas for growth. She’ll share tips for developing strategies to become the kind of manager employees want to work for, leading to real results!

Wales’ presentation, “Confronting Challenges with Confidence:  Key Skills for Navigating Difficult Conversations,” will delve into the role of emotional intelligence in shaping behavior. She’ll explore strategies to manage thoughts to help bring constructive emotional energy to challenging discussions.
