MADISON, WI – The stakes couldn’t be higher. Wisconsin’s small business owners need a Supreme Court that defends democracy—not one bought and paid for by billionaire special interests. That’s why Main Street Action PAC is proud to endorse Judge Susan Crawford for the Wisconsin State Supreme Court.
Last year, small business owners across Wisconsin celebrated as the State Supreme Court struck down rigged electoral maps that had silenced voters and stifled democracy. Now, that pro-democracy majority is under attack, and we refuse to let it slip away. Our courts should serve the people—not billionaires like Elon Musk, who is spending over $10 million to install a justice who will have his back, not yours.
Judge Susan Crawford is a battle-tested prosecutor, a defender of constitutional rights, and a champion for fair courts. She brings decades of legal experience, a strong track record on public safety, and a commitment to upholding the law—not corporate interests. Small businesses need a justice who believes in fair competition and an economy that works for everyone—not one who rubber-stamps power grabs for the ultra-wealthy.
Meanwhile, Trump’s cronies and corporate elites have declared war on small business owners, from illegal federal funding freezes to mass data invasions. Now, their destruction tour has landed in Wisconsin, where Musk and his allies are pouring millions into electing Brad Schimel—a candidate who will protect their interests, not yours.
The choice is clear: a court that defends democracy and Main Street, or one that sells out to billionaire-backed extremists. We’re all in for Judge Susan Crawford.
Irene Strohbeen, an MSA member from Appleton shared “I did a little bit of research on Brad Schimel and he just comes across as unethical. All of the money flowing in for his campaign from Elon Musk is really suspicious. I worry so much about how Musk might be essentially buying a seat on our Supreme Court and therefore buying our state.”
Sam Leary, an MSA member from Madison said “I would also tell my friends and family who are not billionaires and don’t have 10s of millions of dollars to their names. Outside donors, specifically Elon Musk, are trying to buy this election…this stands in stark contrast to what works for small businesses.”
Ashley Storck, an MSA member from Madison, expanded that “Judge Susan Crawford is a great candidate for the State Supreme Court. She has spoken out against the support that Brad Schimel has received from out-of-state billionaires like Elon Musk who are ultimately trying to buy this election. She has more than double the Wisconsin donors than Brad Schimel and I think that goes to show where her support is coming from the State of Wisconsin. And we must rally behind her because she’s for the people and not for corporate interests”
