New Yard Sign Campaign “Nuestros Valores”, Showcasing Values of Community, Belonging, and Compassion
February 28th, 2025- Madison, Wisconsin Centro is inviting the community to show its support by putting up a new yard sign campaign “Nuestros Valores”, which reflects the organization’s values and priorities.
“In these challenging times of fear, worry, and sadness, we think it’s important to highlight the importance of coming together and community,” Centro Executive Director Karen Menéndez Coller said. “Together we accomplish so much and right now, more than ever, it’s important to help sustain hope.
Centro has three styles of yard signs available. “Nuestros Valores” Campaign display the organization’s mission in our community and read:
“Centro Means Community”
“Centro Means Belonging”
“Centro Means Compassion”
“The totality of who we are as a people and a community won’t be defined by this moment,” Menéndez Coller said. “Whether it’s helping young people and families with their school experience or partnering with local employers on workforce development and job skills, now is a good time to recognize the totality of what it means to be part of community,” Menéndez Coller added.
She noted Centro’s communitywide efforts in schools, workplaces, and community/civic gathering spaces are continuing in support of families.
Area homeowners are encouraged to show their support for the work of the organization and come pick up a sign at Centro, 2403 Cypress Way Madison, WI 53713.
“Our signs reflect value statements of who we are as an organization and community and reminders of what together we are capable of every day when we focus on how together we can better the place we call home.”
