MADISON – Jenn Rittenhouse has been hired as Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s District 4 Coordinator in west-central Wisconsin.
Rittenhouse will be responsible for working with county Farm Bureaus to develop and implement programs to serve Farm Bureau members and to coordinate membership recruitment and retention efforts. She will be serving the counties of Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe and Trempealeau.
“Jenn’s Farm Bureau background, her enthusiasm and her diverse agricultural experience will serve her well as she takes on the role of District 4 Coordinator,” said WFBF’s Executive Director of Member Relations Bob Leege.
Rittenhouse grew up on her family’s sesquicentennial dairy farm in Manitowoc County. She served as Manitowoc County’s Miss Farm Bureau and was active in 4-H, FFA and showing dairy cattle. She attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where she received a degree in agriculture marketing and communications.
Rittenhouse previously worked for Organic Valley in LaFarge and currently farms with her husband and son near Elroy, where they rotationally graze beef, raise forage crops and manage forest land.
“I’m honored to serve in this role, and I look forward to working with the great members of District 4,” said Rittenhouse. “I have fond memories from my past with Farm Bureau and I’m excited to make new ones with many wonderful people.”
Rittenhouse began her duties as District 4 Coordinator on February 26.
