Milwaukee — The MKE 2024 Host Committee agreed to a partnership with Light the Hoan during the Milwaukee 2024 Republican National Convention. As part of the agreement, the Hoan Bridge will be lit with patriotic red, white, and blue this summer during the week of July 15. Additionally, the MKE 2024 Host Committee will contribute to Light the Hoan’s efforts to continue to raise funds for the east side of the Hoan Bridge.
“The Hoan Bridge is an iconic Milwaukee landmark and we are excited to light it red, white, and blue for the thousands of guests visiting Milwaukee during the week of the Republican National Convention,” said Alison Prange, Chief Operating Officer of the MKE 2024 Host Committee. “We’re also honored to play a role in supporting Light the Hoan’s mission to unite the community around a shared love for Milwaukee and continue to illuminate the bridge for all to enjoy. Giving back to the community is part of what we do and we’re proud to support this effort to grow the bridge’s visibility for years to come.”
