Madison, Wis. (June 6, 2024) – Following its opening this spring, Moxy Madison Downtown Hotel announces a rooftop restaurant in collaboration with Madison-local Tacos & Tequila Restaurant Group. The new concept called Ático, Spanish for penthouse, will be owned and operated by owners of Pasqual’s Cantina and Taberna. Ático will bring fun and energy to the Madison community, working towards Moxy Hotels’ mission.
Ático Lounge will specialize in Latin American inspired cuisine, with fresh, unique recipes from the Tacos & Tequila Restaurant Group. The rooftop restaurant will offer both indoor and outdoor spaces to hotel guests and Madison residents.
Moxy Madison Downtown Hotel and NCG Hospitality have worked closely with Ben Roberts and Alin Stupinean, owners of Pasqual’s Cantina, Taberna and Ático, to provide a one-of-a-kind restaurant offering for guests of Moxy Hotel and Madison residents. Roberts said, “We are excited to be on the East Side of Madison with this new concept. We feel that the Moxy Madison Downtown hotel is the perfect space to open a restaurant with a more elevated, chic ambiance.”

Ático will bring a cool, lively vibe to Moxy Downtown Madison and a trendy dining spot for visitors of East Washington Avenue.”
Ático will offer views of Lake Mendota and Monona, Breese Stevens Field, plus close proximity to shopping and entertainment options, including The Sylvee and The Tinsmith. Moxy Madison Downtown is the only Moxy hotel in Wisconsin, boasting a bar check-in with a signature welcome drink, a second-story lounge and lobby filled with games.
