Great Harvest Elm Grove Co.: Celebrates 30 years of freshness and community engagement

ELM GROVE, WI – Great Harvest Bread Co. in Elm Grove is marking a significant milestone this year as it celebrates 30 years of serving the community with freshly baked goods and fostering meaningful connections. In honor of this achievement, the bakery is rolling out a series of exciting events and offerings that are sure to delight both loyal patrons and newcomers alike.

Since its inception three decades ago, Great Harvest Elm Grove has been committed to providing farm-to-table delights made with passion and care. To commemorate this special anniversary, the bakery is inviting the community to join in a series of festivities, beginning with an exclusive behind-the-scenes bakery tour with State Senator Rob Hutton, and State Representatives Dave Maxey and Tom Michalski. This tour will take place on May 10 th 2024 at 2:30pm.

The bakery tour offers our esteemed guests a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the artisanal craft and dedication that goes into creating every product at Great Harvest Elm Grove. From kneading dough to the final baking process, they will gain insight into the meticulous attention to detail that sets Great Harvest Bread Co. apart.

In addition to the bakery tour, Great Harvest Elm Grove will be unveiling a commemorative plaque to honor its 30 years of service and dedication to the community. This plaque serves as a symbol of gratitude to all those who have supported the bakery throughout the years, and as a testament to the enduring legacy of quality and excellence.

But the celebration doesn’t stop there, as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing the community experience, Great Harvest Elm Grove ownership (Lance Van Der Ploeg & Michael Giles) is thrilled to announce the acquisition of a neighboring business, Rj’s Ice Cream. RJ’s has been a favorite Ice Cream and Candy shop in Elm Grove for 38 years. To mark this exciting new venture, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held, inviting members of the community to join in the event and sample some of the delectable treats on offer.
