BROOKFIELD, WI (April 30, 2024) — IQ Automation, a Wisconsin audio-video integrator specializing in smart technology for homes and businesses, has installed a customized A/V experience for the Upper Midwest’s first Velocity Esports destination. The entertainment venue delivers cutting edge gaming and entertainment experiences that demand high-end sound and visual quality.
Velocity Esports’ new venue at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumberg, IL, had its grand opening April 18. With a state-of-the-art arcade floor, premiere esports lounge, high-end billiards lounge and on-site dining, it’s designed to entertain all ages and everyone from casual to competitive gamers.
“Velocity wants to deliver a first-rate entertainment experience to its customers, and that requires first-rate audio and video,” said IQ Automation Co-Owner Kevin Ester. “We’re proud that they turned to the IQ team for that.”
With more than 20 TVs, more than 40 speakers, the project required a high degree of customization, from the technology to the installation. The integrated control system was designed so staff can manage everything with a touch of the button, and components were custom-designed and fitted to blend seamlessly into the Velocity environment.
