Going on its third year, this expo will take place at the Heidel House Hotel & Conference Center on Thursday, April 25. The expo is open to all students from 8th grade through collegiate in the morning session, and adults in the afternoon session.
Student, you will have the opportunity to meet with local businesses who are ready to hire you NOW, prepare your skills to provide the best customer service this summer, get tricks on how to earn your tips and manage them, youth apprenticeship programs, understand your new hire and employment forms, work permits and interviewing skills. Best of all, appreciate the magic Green Lake County has to offer all season long. Please join us for this free fast-paced and fun-filled morning from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to improve yourself, financially and professionally, for the best summer of your life.
Adults, this is your opportunity to meet face to face with recruiters hiring on the spot. A variety of industry trades will be present, from tourism/hospitality to manufacturing. Freshen up your resume, shine up your shoes, and get ready to land your new job! This adult job expo will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
If you are a business looking to hire, this is your chance to get in front of local students who want to earn cash this summer and land that year-round full-time employee. Over 200 area students have attended this expo in the past from the surrounding communities of Berlin, Green Lake, Princeton, Ripon, and Markesan. Due to the high demand for the adult job expo, we are happy to be offering the adult job expo in the afternoon. We encourage you to bring business cards, job descriptions, marketing materials, or giveaways to promote your business.
