One of the highlights of Nerd Made: Madison will be a cosplay parade scheduled for 2 p.m. Open to all ages, it is an opportunity for attendees to showcase their creativity and pay homage to their favorite characters.
Attendees (and vendors) are urged to “get their geek on” and let out their inner child by cosplaying as a favorite character or proudly pulling out their favorite geek attire, whether it’s that faded X-Men, “Star Wars” or TMNT T-shirts, skirts, accessories or whatever other geeky or nerdy items that might help them celebrate their geekiness for the day.
“It’s so exciting meeting a new person and being able to go on and on discussing your favorite movie, episode, or book with someone who loves something as much as you do. Nerd Made: Madison will be a great place for that,” says Whisner.
