Elmbrook Education Foundation: Hosts 3rd Annual Boos and Ghouls Night Out

Brookfield, WI – October 30, 2023 – On Thursday, October 12, 2023, over 400 guests enjoyed food and wine while they shopped and socialized around The Corners of Brookfield.  Ten businesses opened their doors and welcomed attendees.  While the weather was not perfect, guests had a wonderful time.

”It was great to see the community come together for this event as it really brings joy and fun to The Corners & our team. Being able to partner with the Elmbrook Education Foundation to honor the teachers in our community is something The Corners values greatly and we are already looking forward to next year’s event!” Jordyn Swan, The Corners of Brookfield Marketing Manager

Proceeds from this event will go towards the EEF staff appreciation and recognition activities in the School District of Elmbrook.  These activities include sponsorship of the Engaged in Excellence awards, Most Influential Educator banquets, and the Thank You Thursday initiative. Next year’s Boos & Ghouls Night Out will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

“I am thrilled to reflect on our recent participation in the Elmbrook Education Foundation’s Boos and Ghouls event, which took place at The Corners of Brookfield. I feel a sense of pride in having played a part in an evening of spooktacular fun and community togetherness. Even more gratifying is the knowledge that the proceeds from this event have gone toward scholarships and teacher appreciation. It warms my heart to see the positive impact this event will have on the educational community. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all who attended and supported this worthy cause.” Anna Antoine, Discover Brookfield Tourism Director

EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation’s mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. EEF has awarded over $1,600,000 in scholarships and over $625,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
