Avenue Jewelers: Completes showroom remodel to celebrate 50 year anniversary

APPLETON, WISCONSIN – Bayland Buildings has recently completed a showroom remodel for Avenue Jewelers. The history begins in 1973 when Bob and Judy Worachek started Avenue Coin just two doors down at 229 E. College. In the 80’s they started adding jewelry to the mix and in that time changed the name to Avenue Coin and Jewelry.

In 1991 Bob, Joe Pankratz, and Larry Rickert (the three owners at that time) took a big leap and bought the current location. At this time jewelry now became much more of a focus of the business and soon the business changed its name to Avenue Jewelers.

Avenue Jewelers now owned by Jason Druxman and Joe Pankratz, sought to remodel the existing showroom to commemorate 50 years of outstanding business. “We decided to do the remodel to take us into our next 50 years!” said Druxman. The decision to remodel and the design process took about a year and a half to finalize and involved the entire staff to ensure Avenue Jewelers was creating a great customer experience. “We wanted to have a warm inviting experience for the many generations of customers who come to see us. Our focus was creating an open and modern showroom, that was also inviting,” said Druxman.

Avenue Jewelers dedicated about 2/3rds of their showroom to Bridal Jewelry which includes engagement rings, wedding bands, and anniversary rings. They will be hosting a 50th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 4th with food, drinks, and giveaways. They encourage all to attend and every customer who comes in will receive a $50 gift card valid for those two days toward any new jewelry purchase.

Ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 3rd at 303 E. College Ave, Appleton, WI 54911.
