WAUSAU, WI (October 9, 2023) GI Associates, the largest independent practice in Northern and Central Wisconsin dedicated exclusively to gastroenterology care, is pleased to announce that, in addition to his practice at the Wausau location, Dr. Vance Hartke will now be available to see patients at the Woodruff location starting in October.
Dr. Hartke joined GI Associates at its Wausau location in August 2023 after finishing his gastroenterology fellowship at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana and his internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hartke received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and his undergrad degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
“Dr. Hartke has been offering care to our patients in Wausau since August, garnering positive feedback,” shared Dr. Eric Johnson, assistant vice president, GI Associates. “We’re delighted to have Dr. Hartke serve both the Wausau and Woodruff communities. His contributions to our team are already evident, and we look forward to him serving people from Woodruff and the surrounding area.”
