Extension Waukesha County 4-H is offering interactive learning experiences July 19th-23rd from 12:00-4:00pm at the 5th Annual 4-H Kids Zone at the Waukesha County Fair. This is a great opportunity to explore the programs and projects Extension Waukesha County 4-H offers. This event is sponsored by Blain’s Farm & Fleet and Woodman’s. Extension hopes to welcome 50 new kids and their families into educational programs because of this outreach.

With a wide variety of interactive activities, this event will offer the following:

• Kids will have the opportunity to explore their interests through these activities.

• Kids will discover new possibilities by exploring 4-H programs that may spark their interest.

• Families will see the benefit of the Kids-adult partnerships in the 4-H program.

All families are welcome to join us in this supportive and educational environment. There will be a total of 10 community partners doing educational programming such as: Greek Vase Art, Make Your Own Smoothie on the Blender Bike, Monarch Butterfly Exhibit and Explore DNA. Each engaging activity will showcase a life skill important to kids’ development. While entrance to the 4-H Kids Zone is free, attendees will have to pay to enter the fairgrounds.
