Security Health Plan: Names Eileen Murphy director of pharmacy

MARSHFIELD – Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has named Eileen Murphy as director of pharmacy. In this role, she will provide strategic and operational leadership of the Security Health Plan pharmacy programs.

“Eileen brings broad experience to the Health Plan,” said Mary Davis, M.D., Security Health Plan’s chief medical officer. “I’m impressed by her leadership skills, knowledge and expertise and I’m confident in her ability to ensure we continue to offer our members the highest-quality pharmacy benefit programs possible.”

Murphy most recently served as pharmacy director for My Choice Wisconsin where she was responsible for the overall strategic direction, operations and management of the pharmacy benefit. Prior to her time at My Choice Wisconsin, Murphy held positions with Navitus Health Solutions, including serving as senior manager of the Clinical Engagement Center. She’s also held clinical pharmacist positions at UnityPoint Health-Meriter and Froedtert Hospital.

Murphy has a bachelor’s from the University of Arizona and a doctorate of pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin.
