(WAUKESHA, WI) – Construction will begin on the Waukesha County Public Works intersection safety improvements located in the Village of Menomonee Falls. Construction will begin June 5th and run until early August. The project will consist of removal and replacement of the asphalt pavement, curb & gutter, traffic signals and pedestrian safety improvements. The construction project will be administered by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT).
During construction stages, Silver Spring Drive and Pilgrim Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction and trucking detours in certain stages, so motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternative routes. The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph on Silver Spring Drive and 30 mph on Pilgrim Road through the construction zone.
