Green Bay, WI. In collaboration, NeighborWorks Green Bay, Green Bay Neighborhoods and the City of Green Bay announces applications are now being accepted through July 1st for Good Neighbor Week.
Good Neighbor Week is a city-wide event that runs from September 24th -30th, 2023. Selected Green Bay homeowners who could use a helping hand with minor home repairs, exterior painting, landscaping, gutter cleaning or minor tree trimming that can be completed in one day are welcome to nominate themselves or a neighbor. We have extraordinary volunteers ready to help neighbors who, because of challenges they face, may not be able to complete these types of projects on their own.
Good Neighbor Week encourages community members to participate in Good Neighbor Week simply by “getting to know their neighbors and neighborhoods” – take a walk in their neighborhood, greet walkers, visit parks and playgrounds, bake and deliver treats, and check-in on neighbors. The 4th annual event encourages people to be good to each other and to be better neighbors because Good Neighbors Make Great Neighborhoods.
