Racine County, WI – The Racine County Economic Development Corporation (RCEDC) is proud to announce its 40th anniversary celebration at the upcoming Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 4th. The event will take place at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Racine and will include presentations honoring award winners such as the Sam Johnson Volunteer of the Year, Business Development Project of the Year, and the Lender of the Year.
The event will also highlight Racine County’s milestone projects that have taken place over the past four decades. The organization will also celebrate the 105 projects approved in 2022 that included $289 million in private investment and when completed will create and/or retain 544 full-time jobs.
In addition, the event will feature a keynote presentation from Development Counsellors International (DCI), who will discuss the topic of “Talent Wars.” The keynote speaker will share trends that highlight why employees and residents choose to relocate.
The RCEDC Annual Meeting is open to the public. Admission is $25 for RCEDC contributors and $35 for non-contributors. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Racine County and learn more about RCEDC’s ongoing efforts to promote economic growth and development in Racine County.
