On Wednesday, April 26the Centro Hispano of Dane County (Centro) will host its annual Strategic Update at its current location on Badger Road. A sold-out event, the Strategic Update has been an annual tradition now for 10 years. The event focuses on providing an update on the agency’s work in the community to Centro’s closest friends and supporters, an opportunity to provide input, engage in candid conversation and strategize towards the future, together.
Centro is a unique hub providing safe trusted opportunities and a sense of belonging for the Latinx community. For years the agency has supported and led the broader community to build stronger collaborations. Investing in Centro has been a way to activate hope.
This year, Centro’s Annual Strategic Update will also include an update from Centro Board and leadership as we work to reach our goal of raising $3.4 million to complete #CampaignCentro. The new building is scheduled to open in early 2024. To learn more about the campaign or make a gift: www.micentro.org/our-new-home
“This agency is a driver for change. I am proud of all that we have accomplished together because Centro represents change that is grounded in community.” – Karen Menendez Coller, Executive Director.
