Weidert Group: Recognized as a Gold-Certified Employee Friendly Workplace

Appleton, Wis. – March 21, 2023 – Weidert Group has been certified as a Gold-Level Employee Friendly Workplace by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce. This certification recognizes employers that have created a positive work environment and experience for their employees.

The certification level awarded to a company depends on ratings in four major categories: Paid Leave and Flexible Work Schedules, Health and Wellness Support, Financial Support, and Perks. Employers are then given a score and if qualified, rank as Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum.

Gold-certified employers go above and beyond, offering benefits and establishing policies that promote work/life integration and strive to meet diverse needs of employees.

Weidert Group President Greg Linnemanstons said the Chamber’s recognition comes at a critical time for businesses. “Recruitment has been difficult for every company, every industry. We’ve been very intentional over the years about growing an attractive work culture, offering comprehensive benefits and designing a work structure that allows people to have a healthy work-life balance. Our commitment has proven to be good for both our people and our business.”

Another unique benefit of working at Weidert Group is that all employees become owners by participating in the agency’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan — a benefit that is 100% funded by the company. “We’re all shareholders, and that means the better we do, the better our people do,” Linnemanstons said. “We want our people to share in the company’s profits
because they’re at the very core of our success.”

Weidert Group was also recently recognized as one of Inc. magazine’s 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. “What this should tell you is that growth doesn’t need to come at the expense of work-life balance, a great culture, or generous employee benefits and perks. In fact, the converse is true: Employees who are treated how they want to be treated are eager to see the company succeed,” Linnemanstons added.
