Milwaukee, Wisconsin/January 28, 2016—HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) has hired Brendon Dorn as a Building Performance Analyst in the Milwaukee office.
In this newly created, cross-disciplinary position in HGA’s Energy & Infrastructure Practice Groups, Brendon will focus on energy auditing and retro-commissioning, including development of energy conservation measures and processes to evaluate building performance for healthcare, higher education, arts, and corporate projects.
He will partner with firm-wide leadership in architecture, engineering, sustainable design, resilient design and research to build an energy database that tracks measurable data against design.
“My role is to translate complex building-performance data into a compelling narrative that helps building owners make informed decisions and position themselves as first movers in energy innovation,” said Dorn.
Before joining HGA, he was a Performance Analyst at CBRE in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Dorn is working on a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a member of the United States Association for Energy Economics (USAEE) and International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE).
