WISCONSIN – Schenck SC is pleased to announce Bryan Grunewald, CPA; Brian Gunderson, CPA, MPA; and Andy Mugerauer, CPA, have recently been named shareholders of the organization.
Grunewald serves as a member of Schenck’s Government and Not-for-Profit team. He has over 15 years of experience providing auditing and consulting services to government and not-for-profit entities in Wisconsin. He specializes in the review of financial policies and procedures, and provides recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls. Grunewald also has experience working with utility rate studies and provides recommendations on rate structure.
Grunewald is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and has been with Schenck since 1998. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) and the Wisconsin Government Finance Officers Association.
Gunderson has over 20 years of extensive experience providing tax planning and research for closely-held businesses, with a special focus on serving manufacturers, construction contractors, and the real estate industry. He also specializes in minimizing the tax obligations of pass-through entities such as LLCs and S corporations. In addition, Gunderson’s experience includes planning related to multi-state corporate returns and providing income tax and estate planning services to individuals and families.
Gunderson is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting. He is a member of the WICPA.
Mugerauer’s experience includes the planning, supervision, and review of various audit, review and compilation engagements for companies in the manufacturing, agricultural and construction industries. He also has experience with the preparation, supervision and review of financial statements, including consolidated financial statements. In addition, Mugerauer has a strong background in the preparation of corporate tax returns, including consolidated and multi-state returns, as well as preparing Federal Form 5500 returns for employee benefit plans.
Mugerauer has been with Schenck since 1997 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. He is a member of the AICPA and WICPA and is the Treasurer for the Habitat for Humanity of Oshkosh and Chamco, Inc. He also serves a Board Member for the Wisconsin Family Business Forum.
