WISCONSIN – In February, Schenck will be hosting its annual Real Estate Forum. These workshops are designed for developers, real estate investors, builders, and professionals who support the industry. With the real estate industry showing signs of new opportunities and growth, the theme for this year’s event is REFRESH.

A professional panel will share the “refreshing” opportunities they’re seeing in the newly-revitalized real estate market. Presenters will explore:

· Financing – what it takes to get a deal done in today’s market

· Alternative financing options – how to partner non-traditional sources with your current banking relationships

· Like kind exchanges – hear updated strategies for the current tax environment

· Structuring and planning strategies in light of new tax laws affecting rental real estate

· Cost segregation refresher and the added benefit of the repair regulations

Panel members will include members of Schenck’s Real Estate team: Ken Zacharias, Mark Spaeth, Corey Kolbe, Mark Vorkapich and Skip Grubanowitch.

Schenck’s presenters will be joined by Brandon Strong (in De Pere) and James Cope (in Milwaukee) of Walker & Dunlop. Walker & Dunlop specializes in meeting the financing needs of owners and operators of commercial real estate properties across the United States. Brandon and Jim will share creative financing opportunities that can go hand in hand with local banking relationships. They will also discuss execution of financing structures to get the deal done.

Seminars will be held in two locations:

· Fox Cities, February 19 at The Marq

· Milwaukee, February 27 at Milwaukee Athletic Club

The seminars will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. with networking and cocktails to follow (registration opens at 2:00 p.m.). For more information, or to register, please visit www.schencksc.com/2014reforum or contact Karie Zellner at 800-236-2246, extension 1261.There is no cost to attend.
