Advance Wisconsin – Manufacturing: Dislocated workers needed for January focus groups

Green Bay – Wisconsin’s 16 technical colleges are conducting focus groups and surveys this month to better understand the needs of individuals who lost their jobs as a result of downsizing or closing. The research will be used to improve the job search and training process.

Dislocated workers who are interested in participating should call Matousek & Associates at 800-365-7359 or visit www.advancewisconsin.org/focus today. Sessions are starting soon. Participants will receive a small incentive.

This program is part of Advance Wisconsin – Manufacturing, a $14.9 million grant project 100% funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. Awarded in 2012, this three-year project aims to improve advanced manufacturing technical college training to develop the skills of individuals to re-enter the workforce quickly in high-wage, high-skill and high-demand jobs. This is an equal opportunity program; individuals with disabilities may request auxiliary aids and services by calling 711 or 800-947-6644 Voice/TTY.
