Cynthia buchko VICE PRESIDENTS

Milwaukee – October 31, 2013 – The law firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. is pleased to announce that Lynda R. Templen has been named Vice President of Client Services and Cynthia L. Buchko has been named Vice President of Legal Services.
As Vice President of Client Services, Templen provides strategic leadership by ensuring the firm’s efforts are focused on what clients value and the firm is collectively meeting their unique needs.

Templen is a shareholder in WHD’s Milwaukee office and previously served as the firm’s Vice President of Legal Services. She has extensive bond and tax experience and is the lead attorney for hundreds of conduit development bonds, general obligation bond issues and the majority of WHD’s municipal and school district bond counsel engagements. She also has extensive experience in the area of Tax Incremental Financing and provides advice on other grant and loan programs to assist development. Templen speaks frequently at public finance seminars and forums and is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, State Bar of Wisconsin, and American Bar Association. She earned her B.A., with honors, from the University of Wisconsin, and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

As Vice President of Legal Services, Buchko provides strategic leadership for the development and growth of WHD and its practice groups, and coordinates internal resources to maximize the quality and scope of legal services delivered to clients.

Buchko is a shareholder in WHD’s Madison office and previously served as a co-chair of the Litigation Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, real estate litigation and energy and mining law. She is a member of the Renewable Energy Resources Committee for the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources, and serves on the Board of Directors for End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin and the YWCA of Madison. She earned her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
