CARNEGIE, Pa. – Beloit, Wis.-based building products distributor ABC Supply Co. Inc. will open a new store at 68 Arch Street in Carnegie, Pa. on Aug. 1.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2012, ABC Supply is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation’s largest distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior building products.
Designed to serve residential and commercial construction professionals, the new store will carry a complete assortment of low-slope and steep-slope roofing materials, siding, windows, doors, gutter, decking and related tools and equipment. It also gives area builders and contractors access to a team of experts and a portfolio of services designed to meet their unique needs.
“We look forward to supporting area contractors and builders by providing the products and services they need to serve their customers and grow their businesses,” said Branch Manager Ramiro Leal.
The branch will open with 11 employees. The facility will include approximately 42,000 square feet of warehouse and showroom space in two buildings. Called a Solution Center, the showroom will be a premier destination for product information and selection for contractors and their clients.
“Contractors and builders will be able to bring their homeowner customers to the Solution Center to select their roofing, windows, siding or other products,” Leal said. “The displays will make it easy for them to show their customers the various options and what’s new in the industry.”
“The Solution Center is designed so that contractors can use it as their own showroom,” he continued. “Contractors will get the benefits of having their own showroom without the investment of time and capital involved in maintaining one.”
The new location will be ABC Supply’s second in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, the other being in North Huntingdon, Pa. The company has 13 additional branches located throughout Pennsylvania.
