“I’m pleased the state is able to assist the village in funding a project that will address both downtown redevelopment and public safety concerns,” said Governor Walker. “These improvements will significantly add to the viability of economic development in the Woodville community.”
The project consists of reconstruction and installation of a storm sewer and curbs at an unsafe intersection. Combined with aesthetic enhancements in the immediate area, the plan is designed to greatly improve the environment for business development and downtown community events. The total project cost is $845,000.
