Popamatic Studios: New creative agency, Popamatic Studios, launches in Madison, Wisconsin

Madison, Wis., June 7, 2011 – Popamatic Studios, a new full-service marketing and creative agency, has launched in Madison, Wisconsin. Founded by former Planet Propaganda President Rob Sax, Popamatic’s primary focus is providing brands with compelling motion-based and digital brand content that can truly impact the bottom line. Sax founded Popamatic Studios following a 14 year stint with Planet Propaganda, a nationally-recognized design firm also based in Madison. Before becoming President in 2002, he established and oversaw Planet’s brand strategy and account services group, and managed a wide range of national clients including Trek Bicycles, Prince Tennis, Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop and Buffalo Wild Wings.

Popamatic hits the ground running, recently winning an assignment from Specialized Bicycle Components, based in Morgan Hill, CA. Work includes strategic positioning and messaging, video, and print collateral as part of a product launch this summer.

“To kick things off with a great brand like Specialized is very exciting,” says Sax. “They fit perfectly into the long-term vision for Popamatic, which is to help brands leverage the power of well-crafted brand content, particularly film/video, and all things digital. They get it, which makes the work all the better.”

Popamatic is located at 211 South Paterson Street, #280, Madison, WI 53703 | (608) 217-1474.
