Conspiracy theorists question 9-11 in “Confronting the Evidence”
FISH CREEK, WI – Halloween may be over but that doesn’t mean you need to wait another year to release your creative costuming spirit. Liz and Steve Kastner invite you to help launch the off-season’s Saturday Cinema Series with a Tinfoil Hat Party at the Compass Coffeehouse in Fish Creek. All of the art supplies will be on hand by 6 PM on Saturday, November 5 enabling and empowering you to create your own protective headgear while making a fashion statement. Shield your brain from such influences as electromagnetic fields. Guard against mind control. Win prizes… vote for your favorite entries, as the top three designers will be honored.
Once audience members are safely protected, at approximately 7 PM, Compass Coffeehouse guests will be treated to a mind-altering documentary: Confronting the Evidence: A Call to Reopen the 9-11 Investigation. This feast for the conspiracy theorist, invites you to weigh the evidence and consider possible answers to hundreds of unanswered questions.
Play Hunt the Boeing… as you try to figure out why no wreckage from the plane that hit the Pentagon was ever found on 9-11. Solve the Mystery of the Third Building that collapsed on 9-11, Bldg. 7… the only steel frame skyscraper ever to be destroyed by fire. On September 11, 2001 at 5:25 PM it was decided to “pull” Bldg. 7 in a controlled demolition, one that would have taken weeks to set up. Try to guess why EPA officials lied to New Yorkers saying the air at Ground Zero was safe to breathe only two days after the attack – meanwhile, half of the site workers now have serious respiratory problems; half of the firefighters can no longer work and 14 of the rescue dogs have died.
Following the screening audience members will decide whether to crumple or continue wearing their protective tinfoil headgear as they return to the “real” world.
Saturday November 12 at 7 PM: The Take.

Everyone has seen Wal-Mart’s lavish television commercials, but have you ever wondered why Wal-Mart spends so much money trying to convince you it cares about your family, your community, and even its own employees? What is it hiding? Greenwald’s documentary takes you behind the glitz and into the real lives of workers and their families, business owners and their communities, in an extraordinary journey that will challenge the way you think, feel… and shop.
Saturday, November 26 at 7 PM: This Divided State.
The events of this award-winning documentary depict a seemingly insignificant event: the invitation by the Utah Valley State College’s student government to have Michael Moore speak on campus. Soon students and locals are in an uproar over what they perceive to be Moore’s anti-American views. They don’t want him on campus, and 10,000 of them sign a petition to ban his appearance.
All of the films at the Compass Coffeehouse are free but, with comfortable seating for 32 people, reservations are encouraged. There will be a 9:00 PM screening of the WAL-MART: The High Cost of Low Price, or any other film in the Saturday Cinema Series if demand requires it.
