Dept. of Commerce: Governor Doyle Announces Business Project in Brown County

MADISON – Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Industrial Engraving
Corporation, Pulaski, Brown County, will receive a $400,000 Community
Development Block Grant – Economic Development (CDBG-ED) loan from the
Department of Commerce (Commerce) for equipment, real estate acquisition and
working capital. The project will create 63 jobs.

“Through my ‘Grow Wisconsin’ initiative, we are helping businesses make a
lasting investment in Wisconsin’s economy,” Governor Doyle said. “This
project will stimulate the local economy and create jobs for the community.
I applaud Industrial Engraving Corporation for making this investment, and
bringing new jobs to Brown County.”

Industrial Engraving Corporation provides products and applications to the
paper, bathroom tissue and toweling, and printing industries. The company
will invest $2.4 million to acquire the equipment and building in Pulaski.

The CDBG-ED program awards grants to businesses that seek to expand or
relocate to Wisconsin. Businesses interested in the CDBG-ED program should
