NEENAH, Wis. (April 16, 2025) — McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering, architectural and consulting firm, announces the hiring of Brian Bending as a senior public safety specialist, Gabe Sleight as a land survey technician and Mario Zerngast as a senior civil engineering technician. Bending is based in McMahon’s Wisconsin office, while Sleight and Zerngast have joined the firm’s Indiana team.
Bending joins McMahon with over thirty years of experience in the emergency services sector. He recently retired from the City of Oshkosh as an assistant chief/fire marshal, managing the Fire Prevention Division. Bending is a graduate of the Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) Fire Science and Paramedic program and is still an active adjunct instructor for the Fire Science Program.
Sleight has been involved in the land surveying industry since 2020, steadily advancing through various roles and gaining experience overseeing multi-person crews. As a land surveyor technician in McMahon’s Indiana office, he will continue his professional development while pursuing his land surveyor’s license.
Zerngast brings extensive experience in the construction industry as a field surveyor, manager and AutoCAD designer. In his role as a municipal and civil engineering technician for McMahon’s Indiana office, he will assist in designing Lake and Porter County properties.
