Laurie Radke’s leadership of the Chamber spans 14 years, leading the organization to a position of strength and impact through policy, pandemic and workforce changes.
Green Bay, Wis. (March 4, 2025) – For the first time in nearly a decade and a half the Greater Green Bay Chamber will seek a new CEO. The organization’s Board of Directors received and accepted a request by Laurie Radke to complete her time with the organization, which will occur on August 31, 2025.
“I cannot tell you how impactful and transformative Laurie Radke has been as CEO and president,” said Ryan Krumrie, chairman of the Greater Green Bay Chamber board of directors. “With Laurie, we have a unicorn. She’s someone who strategically leads and profoundly cares about our area. Greater Green Bay is better because we’ve had Laurie leading in this way since 2011.”
Radke will continue to serve through August, giving the organization six months to find its next leader. Waverly Partners, the firm that led the Greater Green Bay Chamber process that hired Radke, will guide this search, which will begin later this month.
“Serving in this role has been a great privilege. I’m so very proud of the impact that has been made and grateful for the relationships that have been built to further advance the Greater Green Bay Chamber and our region over the last 14 years,” said Laurie Radke. “Coming to this decision wasn’t easy. But we’re given this one precious life and time is of the essence for me to see what else I might do with it. No matter where that takes me this work, this team and this community has my heart,” said Radke.
During her time as CEO, Radke has sought to ensure business, municipality and education leaders are heard. She has led the organization through local and global challenges such as: establishing the long-term sustainability of the Chamber; guiding and informing the Chamber board as well as the Economic Development and Partners in Education advisory boards; building an entry point for the entrepreneurial ecosystem with the formation of The Startup Hub; leading a first-of-its-kind Greater Green Bay strategic planning process that’s become a national best-practice model; collaborating with the business and medical community during the Covid-19 pandemic; and enhancing the talent pipeline for the greater good of the region. Behind the scenes, Radke’s work has guided the foundational efforts of entities that are key to the wellbeing of Greater Green Bay such as Wello (formally Live54218), Achieve Brown County and Tundra Angels.
“She has accomplished more than anyone could have imagined,” said Krumrie. “I’m honored to have witnessed her in action and know that the team she’s built will ensure the continuity and impact the region has come to expect from the Greater Green Bay Chamber. I’m pleased that Laurie is giving us the gift of six months to plan and identify her successor, which is just one more example of how she leads with our best interests at the forefront.”
More information on the search process will be made available in the coming weeks.
