Blain’s Farm & Fleet: Recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Large Employers of 2025

Blain’s Farm & Fleet has been named one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2025 by Forbes, marking its seventh consecutive year on this prestigious list and its first recognition in the Large Employers category.

Among Wisconsin’s Large Employers, Blain’s secured second place in the Retail and Wholesale category and sixth place among all categories. Additionally, Blain’s finished 23rd among all Large Employers nationwide in the Retail and Wholesale category.

The Midwest retailer achieved a new milestone this year, moving from the Best Midsize Employer category to the Best Large Employer category after exceeding the 5,000-employee threshold. Entering this category reflects Blain’s steady expansion while maintaining a workplace culture built on trust, respect and opportunity. It also reinforces the company’s ability to compete with larger employers while staying true to what makes it unique—its people, principles and commitment to creating a rewarding work environment.

This honor highlights Blain’s Farm & Fleet’s dedication to fostering a workplace where associates feel valued, supported and empowered.

“Our team’s exceptional contributions are at the core of this recognition,” said Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Hasting. “Entering the Large Employers category while maintaining the same standard of excellence speaks volumes about our team of Associates. Their dedication has built a workplace culture that supports growth, innovation and a strong sense of community, ensuring we continue to meet the needs of our Associates and customers.”

America’s Best Employers rankings are based on an independent survey of over 217,000 U.S. employees at companies with workforces of 1,000 or more. Participants evaluated their employers on key factors, including workplace culture, career development, compensation and overall job satisfaction.

This recognition underscores Blain’s Farm & Fleet’s ability to expand while remaining true to its mission to treat its customers like neighbors and associates like family. Its people-first philosophy prioritizes professional growth, workplace well-being and leadership in the retail industry.

“Attracting, developing and retaining top talent remains essential to our momentum as we continue to expand,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Anna Gedman. “This recognition reinforces our reputation as an employer of choice. We are committed to providing meaningful career opportunities, competitive benefits, and a workplace where associates can grow and thrive.”
