Wonderful World of Weddings: Fashion show highlights latest trends

MILWAUKEE, WIS. – A high-energy fashion show will take place at 1 p.m. on both days of the 57th annual Wonderful World of Weddings, Wisconsin’s longest-running and most prestigious bridal show. The event will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 4 – Sun., Jan. 5, 2025, in West Allis, Wis., at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

The choreographed fashion shows, featuring professional models and dancers, will include fashions for brides and bridesmaids, mothers of the wedding couple, grooms and groomsmen, flower girls, mini brides, and ring bearers. The performances will also include trends in clothing accessories and floral arrangements, plus performances by Fred Astaire Dance Studios’ professional dancers. Bouquets containing surprise gift cards will be tossed after each show.

Featured partners for the Fashion Show include:

  • David’s Bridal
  • DuBois Formalwear
  • Feisty Flowers
  • Melissa Ann Artistry + Co.
  • Men’s Warehouse

“This is not your typical fashion show, as it is more diverse and combines fashions with dancing and excitement,” said Kelly Kohl, producer of the fashion show, who will also serve as commentator for the program. “The show’s segments are broken out by themes, with different genres of music signaling a change in the style focus. We encourage everyone to stay until the conclusion to experience a special show close, plus have an opportunity to catch the bouquet.”

Tips to get the most from the fashion show include…

  • Getting a wedding-themed drink at the event bar sponsored by The Bartolotta Restaurants beforehand.
  • Being seated about five minutes before the show begins.
  • Taking a program to follow along and note your favorite styles.
