Milwaukee, Wis. — The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council (WSBC) is excited to announce its 17th Annual Conference, to be held on November 12-13, 2024, at the Harley-Davidson Garage & Museum in Milwaukee, WI. This premier event will gather regional business and sustainability leaders to explore progress and future directions in sustainability.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Laura Kohler, Chief Sustainable Living Officer at Kohler Co. and a member of its Board of Directors. Laura has more than thirty years of experience driving purposeful change in business and society. As Chief Sustainable Living Officer, she leads Kohler’s environmental and social sustainability efforts including driving water, waste and GHG reduction efforts across operations, inspiring creativity and community through the Arts/Industry and Stewardship programs, and propelling innovation by integrating sustainable living across all functions at Kohler. Laura is also instrumental in Kohler Company’s governance of these efforts to ensure full transparency and in advocating for policy change to support the adoption of products that help minimize people’s impact on the environment.
The event will also feature a Sustainable Business Awards Reception on November 12 at Milwaukee Tool, recognizing Wisconsin’s sustainability leaders, followed by an optional tour of Milwaukee Tool’s downtown building.
