“I am very excited about Scott moving into this role due to his wealth of CHC experience, combined with his expertise in strategy, fundraising, and passion for innovation, among other things,” said Reba Rice, CEO of NorthLakes Community Health Centers and member of the WPHCA Board of Directors’ Search Committee.  “He is deeply committed to advancing the work of CHCs and is poised to support and lead us into an era of growth and stability.”

Reflecting on his new role, Scott stated, “I am honored to join WPHCA and build upon its legacy of advocating for health centers and the communities they serve.  My work has centered on advancing health equity and ensuring that every individual, regardless of background, has the opportunity not just to survive, but to thrive. I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated members to eliminate barriers to care and create lasting, equitable solutions for all Wisconsinites.” Scott’s commitment to community, inclusion, and service was also recognized by the members of the hiring committee.  According to Joanne Holland, Chief Business Development Officer at Access Community Health Centers in Madison, “Scott values relationships and collaboration, and his professional accomplishments include creating opportunities for a wide array of people to be included and for their participation to be meaningful.”

WPHCA and its members also thank Stephanie Harrison, who led WPHCA for nearly two decades prior to her planned departure from WPHCA at the end of the year, and has made an incredible impact during this time.  Scott’s anticipated start date will be January 6, 2025.
