Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation: Adds Executive Director to leadership structure

MILWAUKEE – After nearly seven years without having an executive director as part of its leadership structure, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation Board of Directors has appointed Ann Marie Moss to the role.

After thoughtful deliberation, the historic Foundation decided to engage in a search for an in-house Executive Director to continue to advance its signature fundraising events, strategic partnerships, and grant-giving activities. Moss was selected from an impressive list of applicants.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ann Marie Moss as our new Executive Director,” remarked David Kriete, President of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. “Her proven leadership in nonprofit management and strategic development will undoubtedly strengthen our organization’s impact in supporting cancer research and patient care as we continue the fight against cancer.”

Moss has an extensive background in development, communications, and nonprofit leadership. Her most recent role was with EDI as Executive Director of the Coalition of State Rheumatology Organizations (CSRO). Prior to leading CSRO for four years, Moss was in senior positions at a variety of nonprofits in the greater Milwaukee area, including The Women’s Center, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, and the Milwaukee Public Library Foundation.

She looks forward to immersing herself in the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation’s mission to prevent cancer, provide the best care to those fighting it and find a cure.

“Being involved in initiatives that take on complex challenges like cancer is both humbling and inspiring,” said Moss. “I look forward to continuing to collaborate with the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation’s dedicated partners to drive progress in health and wellness, and positive change in the fight against cancer.”

Moss earned her Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her Bachelor of Arts from Eureka College in Illinois. She resides in downtown Milwaukee.
