Green Bay, Wis.— The Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership at UW-Green Bay has recently named Karen Lancelle, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Schreiber Foods as the next Executive in Residence (EIR). Lancelle will succeed Bridget Krage O’Connor, owner and principal of O’Connor Connective, who served as the inaugural EIR for the Institute from April 2022 to May 2024.

In her new role, Lancelle will share her leadership expertise with Institute staff, board and committees as the Institute continues its momentum in building an enhanced women’s leadership pipeline in Northeast Wisconsin. She will also provide counsel and advice related to the strategic direction of the Institute and conduct outreach to the business community.

“I’m humbled, grateful and excited to be the next (and second) Executive in Residence for the Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership,” said Lancelle. “It’s a great honor, and I’m eager to help the Institute achieve its vision of being THE place for women’s development in our region.

“At Schreiber, we’re passionate about the professional and personal development of our employee partners. We are focused on providing opportunities that help our partners grow and have an impact – both at work and in our communities. That includes a commitment to take action that supports a more equitable workforce. That’s why this is such a great partnership between Schreiber and UW-Green-Bay. We are committed to the Institute as we work to inspire and empower women, while also bringing positive change to Northeast Wisconsin.

“As Executive in Residence, I plan to connect with businesses in our community and encourage them to lean into the Institute to strengthen their workforce and their business. I’ll advocate for the training women need, while ensuring we’re using research and data to guide our programming.”

Pa Lee Moua, executive director, Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership adds, “I am excited and honored to work alongside Karen Lancelle as she steps into the role of Executive in Residence. Karen has been an active advisory board member, specifically providing guidance and support to our programming sub-committee to ensure Institute programming meets the needs of our community. In this role, Karen will focus on strengthening our partnerships with regional businesses to enhance women’t leadership in our workforce and community.”
