MADISON, Wis. (Feb. 6, 2024) – UScellular invested $117 million in its Wisconsin network in 2023. This includes network upgrades and 5G modernizations that enhanced connectivity across the state and advanced the company’s ongoing 5G network evolution and expansion strategy.
UScellular also donated $136,200 to non-profit organizations across Wisconsin, including $32,300 each to the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay and Boys & Girls Club of the Fox Valley, and $7,000 to Strong Native Minds in Milwaukee. Sixteen Wisconsin non-profits also received more than $1.2 million worth of hot spots and service to help youth connect to the Internet as part of the company’s After School Access Project.
