UScellular: Honors Madison recipient of president’s Volunteer Service Award

MADISON, Wis. (April 16, 2024) – Throughout National Volunteer Month this April, UScellular is recognizing its associates for giving back to causes, nonprofits and local communities in big and small ways. Scott Liesch was among 16 UScellular associates whom have been awarded the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award by the Office of the President of the United States for volunteering more than 200 hours in 2023.

Since 2013, Liesch has been volunteering as a ride coach for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, aiding riders in training safety and managing diabetes while on the road.

Additionally, he joined the Little Switzerland ski patrol as a volunteer patroller with the National Ski Patrol Organization. Over time, Liesch has advanced to become a toboggan ski instructor and achieved senior level status within the National Ski Patrol.

The President’s Volunteer Service Award celebrates philanthropic contributions and impactful service, which has benefited communities across the nation and serves as an inspiration for others to volunteer.
