MADISON—The Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership is pleased to announce the Broadening the View from the Ivory Tower event on March 13th, 2024, at the Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor’s Club. Check in begins at 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at noon.
Broadening the View from the Ivory Tower brings together academic and non academic experts to consider the psychological and sociological dynamics that influence viewpoint diversity on campus and possible avenues for reform. Join Yoel Inbar, Alex Morey, Jenna Robinson, and George Yancy as they facilitate a solutions-focused discussion on the current challenges and opportunities in free speech, viewpoint diversity, and climate on campus.
Inbar is an author and Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, Morey is an attorney and the Director of Campus Rights Advocacy at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, Robinson is the President of the James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal, and Yancy is a Professor of Sociology at Baylor University.
