Madison, Wis. (November 12, 2024) — The Business Forum (TBF) encourages the community to apply for the 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award.
The ATHENA Leadership Award honors those who strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, excel in their chosen field, devote time and energy to their community, and forge leadership paths for others to follow.
ATHENA Recipients must demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession, provide valuable service by devoting time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community and assist women in reaching their full leadership potential.
If you or someone you know meet these three criteria, please fill out the nomination form. Both men and women are eligible.
Nominators must fill out the application by December 2, 2024. Self-nominations are welcome. The application is all that is used in the selection process. The ATHENA Leadership Award Committee will review all applications to ensure they are complete and all nominees meet the ATHENA criteria.
A panel of community leaders will review the applications of the finalists to select the ATHENA Leadership Award Recipient. Our selection committee is asked to keep any/all outside knowledge of the nominee out of their consideration.
Nominees must be present at the 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award celebration event on MARCH 13, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MONONA TERRACE in Madison, where the award recipient will be announced. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, allowing you to showcase your organization to event attendees.
