“This affirmation reflects AM Best’s expectation that Society will maintain a very strong balance sheet while continuing to generate profitable operating results and surplus appreciation in the near term,” said Heather Boyer, Society Insurance president & CEO.
AM Best provides ratings that assess the creditworthiness of insurance companies across the world. According to the AM Best website, a Best’s Financial Strength Rating (FSR) is an independent opinion of an insurer’s financial strength and ability to meet its ongoing insurance policy and contract obligations.
