PSC: Commissioner Marcus Hawkins announces Executive Assistant

MADISON – Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) Commissioner Marcus Hawkins announced today the appointment of Mikhaila Calice as his Executive Assistant (EA). Mikhaila’s first day in this role is April 29. Each Commissioner at the PSC has one EA who advises on issues and matters before the PSC.

Prior to joining the PSC, Mikhaila was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Life Sciences Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she conducted mixed-methods community-engaged research that examined communication dynamics and public perceptions of risks related to science and technology issues such as artificial intelligence and the energy industry.

Mikhaila received a PhD in Mass Communications from the Department of Life Sciences Communication and a Master of Public Affairs with a certificate in Energy Analysis and Policy from the La Follette School of Public Affairs at UW-Madison. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Randolph-Macon College.
