On Broadway, Inc.: Farmers’ Market on Broadway returns for its 21st year

{GREEN BAY, WI., May 16, 2024} — The Farmers’ Market on Broadway presented by Breakthrough returns in the Broadway District with 19 weeks of fun, fresh produce, live music and so much more.

The 2024 season of this popular Wednesday-night market kicks off May 22 and goes through September 25. Hours run from 3-8 p.m. every Wednesday. The hours are reduced to 3-7 p.m. after Labor Day. The Farmers’ Market on Broadway is a rain or shine event.

Regarded as one of Wisconsin’s largest farmers’ markets, the Farmers’ Market on Broadway is a popular gathering spot for those who live, work, play and visit the Broadway District. Over 110 vendors line Broadway St., offering an array of seasonal & fresh produce, baked goods, carry-out foods, coffee & teas, meats, cheeses, flowers & plants, handcrafted goods, and more.  Attendees can also enjoy a local craft beer while they move throughout the market and listen to the live music lineup each week, performing at both the North Stage presented by Capital Credit Union and the Main Stage!

“As we enter year 21 of the market, it is clearer than ever how much this community loves our market,” said Allie Thut, chief operating officer for On Broadway, Inc. “Each week the market not only supports so many local farmers and small businesses, but also the retail shops and eateries that make up the Broadway District. It brings energy each and every week and continues to be a driving force behind why the Broadway District is the place to be.”

Back by popular demand, is our Mini Boss presented by Capital Credit Union. The first Mini Boss booths will appear at the June 19 market and will continue for twice as many weeks as last year. The Mini Boss booths allow for kid entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their wares. This year’s opportunity will allow up to 64 kids the opportunity to polish their skills and forge their future as an entrepreneur and business owner.

New this year, for our 21st year, select markets throughout the season will be recognizing and celebrating cultural holidays. These themed markets include Asian American/Pacific Islander (May 29), Pride (June 5), Juneteenth (June19), Independence Day/Americana (July 3) and Mexican Independence Day (recognizing on September 18). Attendees will enjoy vendors showcasing themed items, celebratory flags and buttons, special music and more.
