MILWAUKEE – Andy Bochman, senior grid strategist for Idaho National Laboratory’s National and Homeland Security directorate, will be the featured guest at a luncheon on Tuesday, March 26 hosted jointly by the Milwaukee Press Club, and the Rotary Club of Milwaukee.
This event will begin 11:45 a.m., with a program start at 12:15 p.m., at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center, 750 N Lincoln Memorial Drive, Suite 320. There is parking available in the north lot, which will be validated. Upon entry you should take the elevator up to the third floor.
Bochman, a Rotarian and expert in security for grid and critical infrastructure, will provide a brief snapshot of what the Milwaukee community can expect as the city prepares for the Republican National Convention, set for July 15 to 18. Milwaukee will be the focus for the U.S. Secret Service, the FBI and other national, state and local partner organizations that would work together to keep participants, venues and citizens safe and secure.
This event is part of the press club’s Newsmaker Lunch Hour series, underwritten by presenting sponsor Spectrum News 1 and supporting sponsor We Energies.
The press club’s Newsmaker Luncheons are held to inform the public about the people and issues that affect individuals and communities in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
