MATC FAST Fund: Executive Director pedals bike for 24 hours to raise money for MATC students

WHEN: Noon June 14th – Noon June 15th

WHERE: SE corner of North Ave. and Terrace at the top of St. Mary’s hill.

WHAT: Liz Franczyk, Executive Director of the Local 212 FAST Fund at MATC, is doing a unique fundraiser. Donors will pitch-in $1 for every mile they think Liz can ride in 24 hours. All proceeds will benefit MATC students trying to keep a roof over their heads or food on their tables. 

The Local 212 FAST Fund at MATC is a non-profit led by MATC faculty and retirees that helps students at the college with urgent basic needs so that they can stay in school. 

PRIZES: Winners who are closest to Liz’s total miles will win awesome prizes: 

  • $500 gift card to Bartolotta Restaurants 
  • Milwaukee Bucks tickets
  • Wisconsin Badger Tickets
  • All other donors who do not fall into the top three guesses will be entered into a drawing for: $250 gift card to Lowlands Group (Cafes Benelux & Hollander, etc.)

VISUALS AND INTERVIEWS: Basecamp will have information, a raffle, cheering supporters and feeds for Liz at the top of St. Mary’s Hill.

COURSE: Five miles along N. Lincoln Memorial Drive, Kenwood, Downer, Lafayette Hill, Terrace. (see attached map image)
