Kansas City, MO – March 13, 2024 – InvestMidwest, is proud to announce the selection of companies for its highly anticipated 2024 event, to be held in Kansas City on April 17th and 18th. This year’s conference will feature a diverse array of innovative startups across three tracks, agriculture, health, and digital technology including a special subtrack dedicated to digital health companies.
Among the 40 companies selected to pitch at the conference, diversity in founder representation stands out prominently. Notably, 12 of the selected companies are founded by women, underscoring the growing presence of female entrepreneurs in the startup ecosystem. Additionally, 9 companies are represented by BIPOC presenters, reflecting InvestMidwest’s commitment to fostering inclusion and equity within the industry.
Geographical diversity is another hallmark of this year’s lineup, with companies hailing from across the Midwest and beyond. While Kansas and Missouri-based companies comprise the majority of presenters, the conference will also feature startups from states as far-reaching as Pennsylvania and Washington. Other represented states include Oklahoma, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Texas, and California, showcasing the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit thriving throughout the region.
