Hupy and Abraham, S.C.: Celebrates World Wish Day with Make-A-Wish

MILWAUKEE – Hupy and Abraham is excited to be partnering with Make-A-Wish to celebrate World Wish Day. “We are honored to be a part of this amazing day with such an inspiring organization like Make-A-Wish,” said Attorney Jason Abraham.

World Wish Day is celebrated every year on April 29, which marks the anniversary of the first wish granted back in 1980 and inspired the start of the charity. Make-A-Wish has granted over 520,000 wishes for children with critical illnesses. They grant a wish every 34 minutes in the United States. These wishes increase hope, serve as a coping mechanism, bring families together and help overcome traumatic stress.

Hupy and Abraham has a mission to give back to the communities in which the firm practices and the motto of doing well by doing good. As a longtime sponsor of Make-A-Wish, Hupy and Abraham is proud to have Make-A-Wish as the firm’s 2024 Employee Chosen Charity. Hupy and Abraham employees have pledged close to $15,000 in support of the organization. Employees have also held a toy drive, donated airline miles and volunteered their time.

This summer, the firm will be sponsoring “Make-A-Wish Day” with the Lakeshore Chinooks on Sunday June 30, 2024.  Additionally, the firm will be holding a Toy Drive July 1 – 25 with all toys and monetary donations presented at “Christmas in July” with the Lakeshore Chinooks on Thursday July 25, 2024.

To support this World Wish Day, please donate through the Make-A-Wish Amazon Wish List or give at wish.org.
